A few short blocks down the street is ST. CHARLES BAY where you are welcome to use the private Goose Island Lake Estates boat launch ramp and fishing pier.  Bring your wade-fishing gear.  It’s unparalleled in this area.

The BIG TREE is…you guessed it!...a few blocks another direction, along with the ARANSAS NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE, just down the road.  Our entire area is a birder’s paradise, so don’t forget your binoculars!  COPANO BAY BRIDGE and PIER are near as well, so you can relax fishing or just viewing the picturesque bay shrimp trawlers.  You won’t want to miss the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets on the bay!

Our getaway is a newly-constructed, tastefully decorated home, containing all new appliances.  It’s comfortable and peaceful.  Just sit on the back porch (which faces a small arm of Goose Island Lake) and enjoy backyard breezes and bird-watching.
